Capri is one of the most famous islands in the Bay, known for the Blue Grotto, the Faraglioni rocks and the polished atmosphere that put it on the map.
It's about 20 minutes by hydrofoil from Marina Piccola, a short walk from the B&B. In high season departures run every hour; book the ticket online the day before.
Our advice: leave early, skip lunch in the piazzetta (expensive and crowded), and head back in the late afternoon once the first wave of day-trippers has gone. A day is barely enough for the essentials.
