The Correale Museum is housed in an 18th-century villa surrounded by a park overlooking the sea. The collection brings together maiolica, glass, furniture, paintings and decorative arts telling the story of Sorrento and the Kingdom of Naples.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, with an inexpensive ticket. The visit takes about an hour; the park can be crossed in ten minutes.
Particularly fine are the Murano glass on the ground floor and the Bourbon-era section. The garden behind deserves a stop on its own — through old trees, you reach the railing with the view of the Bay.
